Summer camp

  • Experience in day camps is a great asset.
  • Knowledge of coaching or current studies in teaching
  • Ice hockey experience.
  • Knowledge of Office suite, and basic social media (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Leadership
  • Punctuality and great organizational skills
  • 18 years and older
  • Driving license an asset.

  • Supervise and organize daily camp activities, from arrival to departure.
  • Be in charge of 3 to 4 groups of 15 to 20 children
  • Prepare and lead outdoor and indoor activities adapted to the children's ages
  • Coordinate and delegate responsibilities to Coaches
  • Ensure that players follow instructions
  • Be responsible for the safety of young people from their arrival until their departure
  • In collaboration with the head coaches, plan and direct all on-ice and off-ice activities
  • Be dynamic and professional with arena staff, parents and children
  • Be comfortable with physical labor, for example: setting up and taking down the “Hockey Shoot” structure, setting up tables for lunch time, filling water bottles, tying skates (if necessary), etc.

COACHES/INSTRUCTORS

Clinics and summer camps

  • Ice hockey technique and experience

  • Being in charge of a group of 12 children or more
  • Prepare and lead outdoor and indoor activities adapted to the children's ages (DAY CAMP)
  • Coordinate and delegate responsibilities to assistant coaches
  • Ensure that players follow instructions
  • Be responsible for the safety of young people from their arrival until their departure
  • In collaboration with the head coaches, plan and direct all on-ice and off-ice activities
  • Supervise 3 vs 3 matches in the afternoon (DAY CAMP)
  • Be dynamic and professional with arena staff, parents and children

ASSISTANT COACHES/ASSISTANT MONITORS

  • Make sure that the players follow the instructions in order to have a good group functioning
  • Be responsible for the safety of young people from their arrival until their departure
  • In collaboration with the head coaches, assist with all on-ice and off-ice activities
  • Supervise 3 vs 3 matches in the afternoon
  • Be dynamic, charismatic and professional with arena staff, parents and children
  • Be comfortable with physical labor, for example: setting up and taking down the “Hockey Shoot” structure, setting up tables for lunch time, filling water bottles, tying skates (if necessary), etc.
